What is 40 Holy Days? 
It’s a free online-tool-kit of music and inspiration featuring leading Jewish artists and thought leaders from around the globe. It’s also an opportunity for Am Yisrael – our people and congregations- to come together and meaningfully celebrate the Holy Days without breaking the bank or reinventing the wheel.

When will the Videos be available?
If the stars align properly, 40 Holy Days will launch on Monday August 24th – give or take a day!

How do I access the videos? 
Once you complete your registration you will receive a personal code. (Shhh it’s a secret)

How much does it cost? 
Nothing, Nada, Bubkes! That’s correct. 40 Holy Days is being offered free of charge to any congregation subscribed to Jlicense.

Are the videos available to anyone?
Not exactly.  40 Holy Days is only available as a service to congregations; not the general public.

What songs/videos will be available?
You can find all of the artists listed HERE.

What if I want to sell the Video?
Well, that’s not possible – or legal!  40 Holy Days, only c your permission to use the videos for services and educational purposes with your individual congregation.  Any additional uses need to be cleared with the artist and copyright holder.

How Do I Use the Videos?
Suppose your shul’s H.H. theme is “Change.” Simply select the appropriate talks, poetry and/or songs to add to your streaming service. Remember, technology is great, but a glitch exists called “latency” which makes it impossible to sync live music without a traffic jam of sounds. These pre-recorded “pods” eliminate that issue and it’s all done in advance of services – so there are no last-minute technical surprises.                                      

Can I use the videos more than once?
You betcha!  As long as you’re registered with 40 Holy Days and a subscriber to JLicense, you are free to use the videos with your congregation as you see fit!

What Kinds of Videos will be offered?
Thanks for asking!  40 Holy Days offers a variety of videos featuring: 

• Traditional and original music 
• Videos with evocative spoken word introspections.  
• A little meditation  
• Kids Vibe Nation, a 20-minute family celebration.  
• And something we’re calling Unspoken Truths, 3-minute trigger videos to be used as conversation starters.

Why do I have to be registered with JLicense?
We believe artists should be paid for the talent and the creations they contribute. It’s also the law.  JLicense, is an affordable service that helps organizations achieve copyright compliance to legally stream content at services.  

Who’s behind 40 holy days?
The project was conceived by Craig Taubman, a long time musician and producer from Los Angeles. Award-winning and Grammy-nominated engineers Tom Weir and Bob Parr are mixing the songs and combining them with videos created by industry leaders including James Huang, Rick Lupert, Stuart K Robinson and Elijah Parr.
